Appalachian Trail
April 20 & May 11, 2024
Here is a great way for you to go on the mission field and return on the same day! Almost 3 million people trek the Appalachian Trail yearly. Hands on Missions is committed to reaching those hiking the AT, providing a hot meal and essential items as they continue their trek north or south on the trail. We listen to their stories, which provides us the opportunity to share our story, that Jesus Christ is the good news of the gospel. There is no cost associated with attending this outreach, but donations are gladly accepted.

Colorado Mission Trip
May 18-25, 2024
$500.00 (All Inclusive)
Hands on Missions will travel to Marble Springs, CO and assist Treasure Mountain Bible Camp prepare for the 2024 camping season. This trip involves two phases. Phase one will construct cabin trusses and framework in Charlotte, NC to be loaded onto trailers and hauled to Colorado. Phase two will involve constructing cabins onsite at the camp and performing other chores at camp such as damage repair and clean up. This camp is located in an avalanche area in the western Rockies and receives about 6-10 feet of snow each winter. The camp will provide housing and food once the team arrives. The beauty of God's creation will surround us as we prepare the camp to host campers from multiple states during the summer months. Africa
Mt. Kilimanjaro/ Moshi, Tanzania

Hands on Missions will return to the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, Africa once again in 2024. Our partnership with the Ekkesia Community Church and missionary Samweli J. Chacha continues to experience growth in accordance with the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. The mission endeavor is set to occur June 19-29 and encourages men, women, and teenagers with legal guardians in attendance to participate. This mission trip will promise to have an eternal impact on the participants and the people the team engages. Individuals of all skill sets are encouraged to prayerfully consider your involvement. We are seeking skilled laborers in construction. Outlined below are the objectives and information that will help you determine whether the Lord is calling you to be a vital part of this outreach.
Objectives
- Offer Christians an opportunity to visualize and participate in the Great Commission within a global outreach.
- Construct a permanent structure with local builders for the church to host weekly activities.
- Provide women's ministry near the church building site to offer encouragement and learn their roles within the home according to God's word.
- Offer childcare to children of those women attending women's conference other than infants.
- Home to home evangelism performed by teams with translators.
- Five early evening evangelism services to be held on church site under tent.
- Have fun while enjoying the culture of the African people and visiting the beauty of the region around Kilimanjaro.

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Join our team and explore the beauty that only Brazil can offer! Brazil offers first time international mission trip participants a third world country mission experience without the jet lag of traveling across the Atlantic Ocean. Our team will perform mission work in the metropolitan areas of Sao Paulo. This area bolsters a population to make this area the fourth most populated region in the world. No doubt there are many who have never heard the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our missionary partner is Isaias Stroebel, who works with a network of multiple churches in the region to offer teams from Hands on Missions the opportunity to impact lives with the Gospel. Men, women, college students, and teenagers with legal guardians are all encouraged to join our team on this mission endeavor.
Objectives
- Offer Christians an opportunity to share their testimonies of faith to individuals with other team members before groups and scheduled in home - visits according to the Great Commission.
- Assist other team members in the planning, set up, and the facilitating of Bible Clubs in local neighborhoods.
- Help organize large youth rally on the campus of Agape Church which will include volleyball competition, 3 on 3 basketball tournament and Gospel presentation.
- Work on the campus of Agape Church. Some team members will perform clean up, repair, and create education zones within park to provide less fortunate children the opportunity to learn valuable life skills for the workplace after they finish school.

Malawi, Africa

- Encourage and support Lyson & Unice Daud
- Preach the gospel through evangelistic crusades using Jesus Film.
- Partner with the agricultural discipleship program already in place through agricultural supplies and home Bible studies.
- Preach in variety of churches as guest speakers.
- Possibly host a 1 day Pastors conference (Lyson asked me about this last week)
- Deliver church resources (Jesus Film, projector, speakers, etc).
- Whatever else Jesus shows us to do as the Spirit enables!

Kenya, Africa
September 7-15, 2024
Hands on Missions is happy to announce a new ministry partner in the country of Kenya. Our host church will be the Lokichar Reformed Church, a part of the Reformed Church of East Africa. Our goal will be to support church plants in Loperot township, assist in serving community water well in proximity to a local school, assist in funding scholarships for public education, while assisting and recharging the Lokichar church in evangelism and discipleship.

Disaster Relief- Lumberton, NC
October 2-5, 2024
Hands on Missions will travel to Lumberton, NC to perform rebuild on homes devastated by the hurricanes and storms in recent years. We will be working with the NC Baptist Men's Rebuild Center to assist families rebuild their lives after these storms. The costs associated with this trip is $100.00 which includes transportation, room and meals. Accommodations are available for women also. We can accommodate up to 12 persons.
