Destinations planned for 2024-2025
Good News Bible Clubs
Weekly September 2024-April 2025
Thursdays 2:30-4:00PM
Washington Elementary School
Waco, NC
Here is a great opportunity to impact a student's life. Good News Bible Clubs meet weekly in the library to offer children a time to interact with songs, activities and encouragement which has an eternal impact on their lives. Hands on Missions needs volunteers to assist students to become fully engaged in our weekly lessons which offer hope, discipline and social development in our challenging world. We use Bible lessons to challenge students to recognize their individual value from a loving God and how they are able to extend that same value to other students.
Volunteers will be asked to help with check-in procedures, hall monitoring, crafts and sitting among children to help them stay engaged. We invite volunteers to participate in teaching the Bible lessons and use your talents as you work with the students. Students need volunteers to pray with and for them. Volunteers will need to pass a child safety background check and will receive training of how the club operates. Please pray about this rewarding outreach.
