Our VisionGod has given us the mandate from Matthew 28:18-20 to go unto all the nations and preach the clear Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Salvation comes only through the person of Jesus Christ. There is no other possible way to heaven. This truth motivates our ministry in order that everywhere we go and everything we do involves reaching the lost with the love of Jesus Christ.
We do many service projects like construction, feeding the needy, and providing help and assistance. The number one priority at Hands on Missions is proclaiming the message of salvation to un-reached people groups and those who God calls. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father but by me”. The combination of our trips and evangelistic outreach enable souls to hear the Gospel of Jesus. Discipleship training also occurs, which brings glory to our Lord and Savior. Since 1997, we have involved Christians from all denominations on our trips. We believe God is calling us all to work together to bring in the harvest (Luke 10:2). Could God be calling you to go on one of our short term mission trips? Could He be calling you to pray for our teams and our partners? Possibly, He is calling you to get involved financially by giving so that others can hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. ABC’s OF SAVING FAITH
If you are not sure that Jesus is you Lord and Savior, you can be sure right now. The Bible tells us that, "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God" in Romans 8:16. If you have The Holy Spirit inside of you He will tell you and assure you that you are a child of God. The Bible also tells us in John 3:16 that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
ADMIT: We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). We deserved death and hell because of this sin, but yet because of God's love for us He willingly went to the cross and took all of our sin on Him so we don't have to experience it for ourselves. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23).
BELIEVE: Even though God knew that we would sin, He provided His son as the ultimate, perfect, sinless sacrifice because without the shedding of blood there can be no forgiveness of sin. Jesus said, "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to Him and dine with him and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20). You can become a follower of Jesus Christ right now by surrendering your whole life, turning from your sin, and trusting Him to save you.
CONFESS: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." God's grace and your faith leads to restoration. "Lord Jesus, I believe that you are God's only Son. That you died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins, cleanse me, fill me with Your Spirit. Thank you Jesus for saving me. I turn my back on the devil and I run into the arms of Jesus! I am now a child of God! Thank you Jesus!!!" If you just prayed this prayer we would love to hear about it.
